封筒デザインのモチーフには「しまわれている中身を大事にする」という想いが込められています。
名刺を大切に包む というコンセプトでデザインされたカードケースです。

本来、革はシワが寄っていたりキズがある部分を避けて使用しますが、元々皮(skin)の表情は均一ではなく、生きてゆく中で刻まれたシワやキズが無数に存在しています。
革は動物の皮(skin)であったことを表するため、生来持っている動物のテクスチャーとしてその表情も残して製造されています。

※通常の厚みの名刺で片側20～25枚程(合計40～50枚程)


HOFF/ホフ
シューメーカーとして経験を積んだ森永潤一郎と、インテリアデザインを本業とする上野卓史（Leif.designpark）がカーディングレザーに出会ったことでHOFFの原型が立ち上がる。
1年間の準備期間を経て、Leif.designparkプロディースの元、2012年本格始動。見落とされていた素材、職人の技術を流通させることで、新しく人・会話・アイデアが集まる場所が生まれる。
時代性は持ちつつも、流行に左右されない、定番としてのものづくりを目指します。

Envelope design is a figurative expression of giving attention to what is inside.

Carefully storing a business card just given is equivalent to showing consideration to the person who gives you the card.
That is how HOFF believe.

To display the expression of leather without showing stitches.
The most minimum way to hold things in.
Pass case was designed with these concepts in mind.

The appearance of leather is not always the same and flat.
It is natural that numberless of wrinkles and scars are made on ones skin in life.
However the use of these area on leather are usually avoided in the industrial world.

HOFF challenge to also use these leather parts.
To mark leather is once used to be a part of animals,
and to acknowledge that is natural texture and expression of skin.
